Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of Olas Dev Kickstart 2! We’ve heard your feedback and the course is now divided into three parts, with the aim of providing a more in-depth and manageable learning experience. This comprehensive three-day workshop is designed to guide you through building your own Mech Prediction Tool, and give you the chance to start earning dev rewards. The workshop will be held on July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at 1 pm UTC.
Workshop Overview
Day 1: Introduction to Mech Tools
On Day 1, we will focus on introducing AI Mechs and Mech tools, ensuring you understand the basics. We will use the Mech client to send a Mech request and receive the response.
Day 2: Start Coding your Mech Tool
On Day 2, we will start coding a Mech tool step-by-step with hands-on guidance.
Day 3: Finalizing and Minting Your Tool
On Day 3, we will finalize the tool with final touches and bug fixes. Additionally, we will demonstrate how to mint the tool on the Olas Registry. We will also cover how to integrate your tool into the Mech marketplace.
Eligibility and Benefits
This workshop is designed for developers who meet the following requirements: some Python knowledge, a basic understanding of blockchain, and familiarity with IPFS. By the end, you’ll have a working mech tool and a chance to start earning dev rewards in the Olas ecosystem. To learn more about dev rewards, check out this guide and this thread.
